History in Art, The Vietnam Series: A Memorial

In 1965 artist Philip Schuyler was given permission
and logistical support by the United States Army to create
artworks portraying and documenting experiences of the young men
being sent to serve their country in Vietnam. His story, and the stories
of the young men he portrayed follow, along with documentation as to
personnel, scene description and other information.


Scenes from Famous World Operas
These dramatic scenes take graphite pencil rendering to its
ultimate complexity and excellence. Scenes from Famous World Operas
include Nabucco by Giuseppe Verdi; Kumagai Jinya, a Kabuki play;
The Tales of Hoffman by Richard Wagner; and
The Flying Dutchman by Jacques Offenbach.
